Dirty Carnivore Cinnabon Cake

Jump to Recipe

Searching through the internet to test “carnivore cake” recipes to see what I was in for taste and texture wise, resulted in some pretty gnarly cakes. Some cakes tasted like shirred eggs while others were reminiscent of hotel continental breakfasts eggs. With each recipe, all I wanted more and more, was something that resembled a cake and less like an eggy bake. The internet was not helping me have faith that this recipe was going to work out. So, I had to reach into my back pocket and pull out one of my old tried and true keto cake recipes but then tweak it a little. Thus, the Dirty Carnivore Cinnabon Cake was born!

Naturally, I had to pair a sweet and spicy cinnamon strain with this cake that would be delightful flavor wise with a well-balanced high. This strain tends to have a very uplifting, happy, and relaxed effect on the body and mind. It is absolutely a mood enhancing cultivar that helps with stabilization of ups and downs in the mental sphere. It balances nicely with the cake and frosting, creating a truly satisficing dirty carnivore cake. Sans cannabis, this cake is a great birthday or celebration cake, or treat on those really hard days.

Dirty carnivore recipes are fantastic to keep on the back burner to help you transition to a full carnivore diet or save you from making a bad decision. Often, when transitioning, we will get to that point, where we really want a nice dessert and will gladly have a cheat day to have it. Or perhaps it is a big celebration or birthday, and having ice cream and cake is going to happen no matter how strict you have been all day, week, or month. But what are the ramifications of having a full-fledged sugar and plant laden slice of cake? Mass inflammation in the body. To me, it is worth having a dirty carnivore dessert like this cake, to keep you on track with your goals, instead of derailing and setting yourself back several steps. These transitional recipes will help to keep your backbone strong until you no longer crave them anymore.

Notes

  • Cannabis is technically not Carnivore; however, I see plants as medicine as long as they are extracted correctly and used only when needed.

FAQs

Can I make these without weed?
Of course! These recipes taste amazing both infused and not!

Why Cannabis?
When our body is homeostasis, it has no need for cannabis as it is happy. But if negative environmental, lifestyle, genetics, stress, diet and nutrition, alcohol consumption, or health factors are present, the system can become unbalanced, and we now have an endocannabinoid deficiency. This results in things like migraines, fibromyalgia, mood disorders, behavior problems, anxiety, depression, bowl issues, and metabolic issues like not being able to lose weight.

Using cannabis as medicine can restore this balance in the body when combined with a proper carnivore diet. With the goal being, to eventually transition off the cannabis. Think of cannabis as a little dirty carnivore helper, that is going to be the last plant you see before you are 100% successful and in homeostasis. And also think of it as a tool to put in your back pocket in case the unfortunate event of environmental disease or infection (cold or infection) in the future causes your body to fall out of homeostasis again. Life happens. Just remember, cannabis is medicine so use it wisely.

What is the best protein powder to use?
I would recommend any keto or low carb protein powder to put into this cake. Optimum Nutrition I believe is the best deal and quality unless you make it yourself at home. I would suggest any cake, cinnamon, or vanilla ice cream flavor for the protein powder you choose.

How to Store Dirty Carnivore Cinnabon Cake?
It is recommended to store the cake in a covered glass container in the refrigerator.

How Long Does It Last?
The Dirty Carnivore Cinnabon cake will last for 1 week in the fridge for maximum freshness!
