30 Day CBD Challenge Phase 2: Day 1-3
I finally started running, again. After 3 1/2 years of taking a break from it – I am happily back at it. I used to run every day for several miles even in the middle of Colorado snow storms in Summit County. Strangely, I still have my endurance for long distance flat runs, however I am lacking a quick pace and the ability to plow up inclines. All in good time though. I am just happy to be doing something I love again and sharing that with my daughter (she loves going on runs with me in her stroller or even on foot for a very short while). However, the recovery periods after have been hitting me quite hard. And that is why I can thank the universe and Natural Recovery Greens.
I started running and using this product on June 1st, 2019 and will continue to do so till the end of the month. The first time I consumed this product in my smoothie it reminded me of a supergreen powder that I used to get at whole foods – but this one was exceedingly tastier. After about an hour and 1/2, I noticed an incredibly profound (and I mean, profound!) sense of calm and relaxation. It actually took me off gaurd quite a bit as I noticed a change in my pain – it was gone!
The pain I was experiencing in my lower back from running on gravel, then on the beach, and then carrying my 3 1/2 year old daughter on my back caused a great deal of discomfort. However, that all disappeared after drinking this supplement. It was as if I took a 800mg ibuprofen without any ill side effects such as stomach upset. It was really quite exciting to take a healthy greens supplement that had CBD in it. As this is the first of its kind that I have tried.
I am going to continue to update this blog for the next 30 days to see what impact Natural Recovery Greens has on my running and recovery as well as general inflammation such as migraines. In the meantime, feel free to read what this supplement is all about. Xx!Share this:
