Mary Jane’s CBD Rainbow Warrior Juice

Juicing has been a family staple since 2013 when I began to study the topic and incorporate it into my lifestyle. It has been a wonderful journey and now I have been blessed to share that joy with my child. My daughter Mary Jane came up with a new recipe yesterday that both had us going, “MmmmmMmMmmm!!!!”

You might be asking yourself why you should even bother juicing when the store has tons of juice? Welll simple, fresh pressed juice has a plethora of concentrated enzymes that are active or “alive”, phytochemicals, soluable fiber (it leaves behind the insoluble fiber), immune boosting minerals and vitamins, it is alkaline in nature, and can help you meet your daily quota of fresh fruits and veggies. When you pasturize juice it kills the enzymes and degrades or cancels out the other health boosting profiles. See all that foam on top of the juice? Alive with oxygen and soulable fiber.

And you might be thinking, well, that is too expensive?! The short answer is no. You can get a simple juicer as cheap as $34 and buy cheaper produce such as celery, bargain apples, and other bargin fruits in the fruit clearence section of your grocery store. People want to believe eating healthy is not cheap. But when it comes down to it, the average bunch of celery goes for $1.99 and you can get a bag of dicounted apples for $1. Might sound simple, but juicing those two every day far exceeds the benefits of “dead juice” or buying junk or fast food.

Need the adult recipe? Add in some hemp infused sea salt. Sprinkle some on your favorite dish and savor the moment. But salt, in juice, really?! Just a pinch really compliments the celery and sweet fruits in this drink. While adding important trace minerals to your drink. Salt also is important for your delicate electrolyte balance. Enjoy!

Mise en place:

  • 6 Pink Lady Apples with skin on
  • 1 pound of celery
  • 4 navel oranges leaving the pith
  • 5 limes leaving the pith
  • 1 dose hemp sea salt

Dirctions:

  • Cut up the apples leaving the skin on. Now peel the limes and oranges leaving on the pith. Cut off the butt of the celery and pull apart.
  • Juice the apples, followed by the limes, celery, and oranges.
  • Pour into glasses and serve. You can add a dose of hemp salt for adults.
