No matter where a person lives or how cautious they might be, the simple fact is that the environment has toxins. Over time, these toxins will accumulate in the body, causing damage to the cells. Juicing is a simple and delightful way to dramatically improve any health issues by adding high concentrations of fruits and vegetables to a diet. The simple act of consuming juices provides the body with antioxidants that help to bring it back into balance.

This recipe is a delicious, strain-specific drink that can be made even more palatable for the beginner juicer by adding in blood oranges. Blueberries and blood oranges contain the pigment anthocyanin which has shown to reduce inflammation of the body, boost the immune system and provide protection against Alzheimer’s and Parkisan’s disease. Blueberries are also know to help fight fat in the body and help maintain optical health.

Beets and cannabis leaves have shown significant anti cancer agents which help to impede tumor growth. Both are similarly packed with vitamins, minerals, nutrients and phytonutrients. The cannabis leaf cannabinoids also help to relieve nausea, anxiety and debilitating illnesses in people without getting them high. And lastly, don’t be fooled that the addition of local clover honey is just for sweetness because it has many other purposes. Honey is considered nature’s best all-around remedies and has been used for centuries medically. It’s high in antioxidants, antimicrobials, flavonoids, properties that promote wound healing and properties that reduce local seasonal allergies.

There are a few words of caution when it comes to juicing for people with sensitive digestive systems or compromised immune systems…
